In Vietnam, IT industry’s shortage 20 years.

According to TopDev, a recruitment site in the information technology (IT) field, Vietnam is experiencing a serious shortage of human resources in the IT industry and is expected to have a shortage of 100,000 by 2020.

The demand for IT human resources in 2020 is expected to be 400,000, but the supply will be 75%, or 300,000. Furthermore, it is expected that there will be a shortage of 190,000 by 2021.

Behind this, companies are promoting digital transformation to improve productivity, and the public sector is actively promoting e-government business to improve transparency and prevent corruption
